Bouchaud’s Model Exhibits Two Different Aging Regimes in Dimension One

چکیده

Let Ei be a collection of i.i.d. exponential random variables. Bouchaud’s model on Z is a Markov chain X(t) whose transition rates are given by wij = ν exp(−β((1 − a)Ei − aEj)) if i, j are neighbours in Z. We study the behaviour of two correlation functions: P[X(tw + t) = X(tw)] and P [ X(t) = X(tw)∀t′ ∈ [tw, tw + t] ] . We prove the (sub)aging behaviour of these functions when β > 1 and a ∈ [0, 1].

Convergence of clock process in random environments and aging in Bouchaud’s asymmetric trap model on the complete graph

In this paper the celebrated arcsine aging scheme of Ben Arous and Černý is taken up. Using a brand new approach based on point processes and weak convergence techniques, this scheme is implemented in a broad class of Markov jump processes in random environments that includes Glauber dynamics of discrete disordered systems. More specifically, conditions are given for the underlying clock proces...

Background & Objective: Quality of life in different age groups can consider as good predictor of elderly quality of life. The purpose of present study is comparing quality of life in different age decade. Materials & Methods: This cross sectional study performed in 1914 citizens of Tehran with SF36 questionnaire. Sample selection method was multistage classification. We used One Way ANOVA for ...

Ageing in homogeneous systems at criticality

Ageing phenomena are observed in a large variety of dynamical systems exhibiting a slow relaxation from a non-equilibrium initial state. Ageing can be characterised in terms of the linear response R(t, s) at time t to a local perturbation at time s < t. Usually one distinguishes two dynamical regimes, namely, the quasistationary regime, where the response is translationally invariant in time, a...

Random Walkers in 1-D Random Environments: Exact Renormalization Group Analysis

Sinai’s model of diffusion in one-dimension with random local bias is studied by a real space renormalization group which yields exact results at long times. The effects of an additional small uniform bias force are also studied. We obtain analytically the scaling form of the distribution of the position x(t) of a particle, the probability of it not returning to the origin and the distributions...

Slow relaxation dynamics and aging in random walks on activity driven temporal networks

We investigate the dynamic relaxation of random walks on temporal networks by focusing in the recently proposed activity driven model [Perra et al. Sci. Rep. srep00469 (2012)]. For realistic activity distributions with a power-law form, we observe the presence of a very slow relaxation dynamics compatible with aging effects. A theoretical description of this processes in achieved by means of a ...
